Dashak Samvad and Foundation Day Ceremony

About the event

On 25 October 2026 the Trust held Dashak Samvad, its Foundation Day ceremony, at Hotel Royal Park in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The theme on the stage banner was a reflection on ten years of the Trust’s social journey, with a resolve for social justice, education and inclusive development.

Academics, lawyers, social workers, office-bearers and members of the Trust came from several states, and each guest was welcomed on stage with a stole. The formal programme began with the lighting of the lamp before a garlanded portrait, followed by a slide presentation on the Trust’s work and the talks.

Speakers

• Prof. Suraj Mandal of the University of Delhi, great-grandson of former Bihar Chief Minister B. P. Mandal, who chaired the Mandal Commission, spoke on social justice and reservation.
• Neeraj Yadav, National President of the Kendriya Samaj Samiti, congratulated the Trust, spoke about ending social evils and urged people to bring Gandhian values into daily life.
• Prof. Sandeep Yadav of the University of Delhi spoke on the caste-based census and the caste-related challenges that communities face in India and abroad.
• Prof. Ratan Lal spoke on education and on the early life of Dr B. R. Ambedkar, including the people who supported his education.
• Yash Bhartiya spoke on how OBC reservation is implemented in government recruitment.
• Mayank Yadav, advocate at the Supreme Court, spoke on OBC representation in caste census data.

Congratulatory video messages were also played during the programme, including one from Subhashini Sharad Yadav. At the close, speakers and guests were presented with mementos and bouquets.

Among those present were Om Prakash (former Air Force officer), Dhirendra Pratap Yadav, Subhash Yadav, Praveen Yadav, Deepak Yadav, Saurabh Yadav, Suraj Yadav, Uttam Chand Yadav, Naval Kishore, Anuj Yadav, Ashwini Yadav, Manish Yadav, Premchand Yadav and Pankaj Yadav; Nirmal Yadav from Telangana; Sudhir Yadav and Kamleshwar Rai from Bihar; Sunil Yadav and Shekhar Babu from Jharkhand; Prem Singh Yadav from Uttarakhand; Dr Pradeep Yadav, Ram Avtar Yadav and Shashi Bhushan Yadav from Madhya Pradesh; and Dr Subhash Yadav and Shashank Yadav from Haryana.

The programme was held under the guidance of Suresh Yadav. Arun Yadav and Sandeep Kumar Yadav hosted and coordinated it.
